Kriss Kross

Now in its fourth decade, this was the first magazine to be launched for kriss kross enthusiasts.

Seventy per cent of the puzzles are kriss kross and fitwords. A dedicated team of experienced compilers creates every single kriss kross by hand.

Some of the puzzles have innovative length tips on the grid – these aid the solver without diminishing the puzzle.

In the magazine there are puzzles that are closely related to the kriss kross. Cube It is a multi-faceted kriss kross. Kross Piece is a Pieceword without clues. Kross Filler is an intriguing combination of a wordsearch and a kriss kross. There is a variety of other puzzles, including crosswords, wordsearch, spot the difference, quiz kriss kross, number kriss kross and codewords.

The first prize in the regular competition is £1,000 and there are five runner-up prizes of £100.

The puzzles are carefully designed and some are attractively illustrated.
